OUR HISTORY
At Imaginarium, we are proud of the significant impact our founder and owner, Michael Fux, has made to the Home category over the last 40 years.
Michael’s innovative leadership shaped the bedding utility industry we know today. He was the first to develop and introduce several industry innovations. He introduced memory foam pillows to retailers, compressed mattress in a box, egg crate mattress topper, innovative packaging and so much more. This experience underlines decades of commitment to innovation and quality in delivering superior sleep solutions.
With innovative products comes a long and proven track record of getting placement of strategic programs in retailers like Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club, Home Depot and many more over the last 30 years.
OUR PEOPLE
Behind every product we design and deliver is our team of passionate, experienced professionals who understand what it takes to create value for both our retail partners and the consumers we serve.
Collectively, our team brings together over 200 years of expertise across product development, sourcing logistics and retail merchandising. Many of our team members have spent 10, 20, even 30+ years in the industry, giving us a deep understanding of what drives success on the retail floor and in the home.
However, it’s not just experience that defines us, it’s purpose. Every person on our team embraces our commitment to adding real value at every step of the journey. From the first sketch to the final shipment, we focus on delivering products that not only meet performance and quality standards but exceed expectations—making life easier for our retail partners and more comfortable for their customers.
OUR TEAM
John Rachid leads Imaginarium with nearly 30 years of consumer product industry experience and a visionary approach to brand growth and operational excellence. Prior to joining Imaginarium, he was instrumental in increasing company value and executing a successful private equity sale through accelerated growth, retail-focused marketing, and strengthened customer engagement.
John played a pivotal role in elevating a top-three mattress brand to the number one position within five years—a powerful testament to his strategic acumen and results-driven mindset. He has spearheaded company-wide initiatives alongside leading business consultants, blending innovation with collaborative execution at every turn.
His leadership philosophy focuses on breaking down siloed business practices, driving efficiency, and aligning teams around shared goals. John is known for fostering strategic partnerships, converting transactional relationships into long-term opportunities, and championing product innovation through close collaboration with top-tier suppliers.
With a proven track record in driving market share, guiding product lifecycles, and leading high-performing cross-functional teams, John is a catalyst for sustained success and forward momentum at every level of the organization.
Vince Scattolino brings over 30 years of executive leadership experience spanning product development, operations, and strategic management across the Consumer Products and Polyurethane Foam industries. As Chief Operating Officer, he drives daily operations with a relentless focus on operational excellence, consistently delivering high-quality, on-time solutions for retailers and customers alike.
Recognized as one of the foremost experts in the Polyurethane Foam sector, Vince is known for his keen ability to identify growth opportunities and implement impactful, corrective strategies that optimize performance. His passion for innovation and sustainability has shaped much of his recent work, dedicating the past decade to advancing eco-conscious practices and transformative product solutions in foam and sleep technologies.
Vince continues to lend his expertise and leadership to key industry organizations, including:
- Global Vice President of CertiPUR – a global certification program ensuring polyurethane foams are produced using environmentally responsible practices.
- Board Member, Polyurethane Foam Association (PFA) Sustainability Board – promoting sustainable production and recyclability within the industry.
- Board Member, Mattress Recycling Council (MRC) – helping lead efforts to establish a national mattress recycling program, which has already diverted over 15 million mattresses from landfills across multiple states.
Connor Fux leads Imaginarium’s Sales and Product Strategy with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for what transforms a product from simply functional to truly meaningful. With a strong background in sales leadership and a hands-on approach to product development, Connor bridges the gap between design and customer experience—ensuring that every solution is imaginative, high-quality, and tailored to how people live and sleep.
At Imaginarium, he plays a central role in shaping strategy, driving growth, and delivering sleep products that reflect the company’s purpose: "create trusted, enhanced products that deliver value and innovation to both our retailers and consumers.”. His work is guided by the belief that sleep is deeply personal, and that thoughtful design should meet real-life needs with comfort, fun, and purpose.
With over 30 years of experience in product development, textiles, and global sourcing, Freda Elliott is a driving force behind bringing innovative products to market. Her expertise spans every stage of the product lifecycle—from sourcing raw materials to managing imports and executing customer-specific projects with precision and care.
Whether traveling internationally or attending trade shows, Freda thrives in fast-paced environments, always seeking fresh ideas and reliable partners. At Imaginarium, she leads with purpose, cultivating strategic supplier relationships that ensure our products are market-ready, meaningful, and positioned to deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Carrie Worth shapes the creative heartbeat of Imaginarium, leading the vision behind our design, content, and visual strategy across every consumer touchpoint. Her deep understanding of brand storytelling ensures that every piece—from packaging to digital assets—resonates with our target markets and reflects our brand’s personality.
Partnering closely with Sales and Production, Carrie plays a critical role in developing cohesive, market-driven collections that not only stand out but build lasting connections with consumers. Whether she's orchestrating photo shoots, crafting engaging content, or launching new campaigns, Carrie is the creative force that brings our brand to life with clarity, passion, and precision.
With over two decades of experience supporting retailers and consumers, Ron Eril plays a vital role in overseeing the company’s daily IT and EDI operations. From order receipt to fulfillment, he ensures seamless coordination across platforms and departments, empowering smoother business workflows and data accuracy.
Ron’s impact goes beyond technology—he delivers cross-functional support to the Operations, Sales, and Shipping teams, providing agile, solution-oriented contributions across all aspects of the business. Whether stepping into additional responsibilities or volunteering to lead critical projects, Ron embodies a team-first mindset that keeps our company moving forward.

With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for operational excellence, Susan plays a key role in driving efficiency and ensuring compliance across all sales processes. As the leader of Sales Operations & Compliance, she supports the sales team with the tools, systems, and structure they need to succeed—while also maintaining the highest standards of regulatory and internal integrity.
Known for her strategic mindset and solution-oriented approach, Susan is committed to creating seamless workflows, optimizing performance, and helping the organization grow responsibly.
Joining Imaginarium in 2023, Barbara Salvanto serves as the company’s senior-most accounting and finance executive, leading all financial operations with a focus on precision, transparency, and long-term stability.
Barbara’s career began in sales and marketing administration, but her passion for finance led her to pursue an accounting degree and earn her CPA license. Over the past 28 years, she has held Controllership roles at multiple organizations, building a reputation for strategic financial leadership and operational integrity.
Her breadth of experience and sharp analytical skills make Barbara an essential contributor to Imaginarium’s financial health and a trusted advisor to the executive team.
Peter is a strategic commerce specialist with deep expertise in Product Operations, E-commerce, and Influencer Channel Management. He drives performance across the full product lifecycle—from forecasting and fulfillment to customer satisfaction—while orchestrating seamless digital experiences across platforms like TikTok and Amazon.
Most of Peter’s time is dedicated to the meticulous setup and maintenance of digital storefronts, ensuring every item is accurately configured, optimized, and positioned for success. His hands-on management of backend systems and platform operations is critical to maintaining visibility, performance, and user engagement. With a sharp understanding of supply chain dynamics, he aligns production timelines with market demands and collaborates across design and sales teams to deliver standout products and exceptional post-launch support.

At Imaginarium & Co., we believe in using our success to support and uplift others—especially children and families facing serious health challenges. That’s why we’re proud to support The Michael Fux Foundation (MFF).
Founded in 2006 by our CEO, Michael Fux, the foundation’s mission is to enrich the lives of children battling serious illnesses by providing comfort, resources, and hope to them and their families.
OUR IMPACT:
- The Michael Fux Family Center at Miami Children’s Hospital offers a home-away-from-home experience, complete with showers, laundry, a full kitchen, movie theater, library, gym, and more.
- Annual Holiday Parties give children in treatment a day of celebration, games, music, and their greatest holiday wishes come true.
- Support for Global Medical Missions, including sponsorship of cleft lip and palate surgeries through Operation Smile.
- Partnerships with Key Organizations such as Ronald McDonald House, Children’s Cancer Caring Center, and the Overtown Youth Center.
